New Interval

Switched it up a little today.  Changed from a 1:1 run:walk interval to a 5:4.  Instead of run 1 minute then walk 1 minute, it's now run 1:15 and walk 1.  It's a great way to build up a little more endurance over the coming weeks, and shave a little time off my average pace.  It's only 15 extra seconds per run interval, but I felt every one of those extra seconds towards the end of tonight's run, and don't have much to show for it since I was on the treadmill!  :o(

Today's stats:
  • 10 min warm-up walk
  • 3 mi; 0:39:22 min; 13:07 min/mi avg pace
